More than one way to use a bag
Crumble a bit over whatever your dog already eats. That covers most people.
When dinner is getting ignored, add a spoon of warm water and stir it around until it turns into a loose gravy. The smell comes up and the bowl gets a lot more interesting.
You can also hand the pieces over one at a time. Some people buy a bag purely for training and it never goes near a bowl. They break into smaller bits if you want to stretch one further.

Freeze drying pulls the moisture out and leaves the pieces light and crumbly, so a small amount goes further than you would think. The probiotics are a hardy sort and stay alive in the bag through to the best-before date.
