Our Story
Built for the Best Dog You Know.
Two Founders. One Standard.
Outback Bones started with a trip. A visit to Australia where we saw, firsthand, what dog treats were supposed to look like: pure, single-ingredient, nothing on the bag that didn't belong inside the dog.
Then we came home, and walked the pet aisle. Shelf after shelf of filler-heavy options. "All-natural" treats with ingredient lists longer than the warning labels. Mystery proteins. Marketing dressed up as nutrition. The brand we wanted to feed our own dogs didn't exist in the U.S.
So we built it. Butcher-cut. Single-ingredient. Honest. Real meat, prepared the old way. Nothing engineered. Nothing artificial. The dog food aisle had forgotten what good actually looks like. So we made it our standard.
We built Outback Bones for years before making our most important move: partnering with the originator of the one product missing from our lineup. The product that started the category in the first place. The Marrowz Collagen Chew.
Meet the Mind Behind Marrowz.
Long before the collagen marrow chew became a category, it was one woman's conviction in Australia.
Brooke Jones didn't set out to start a category. She set out to make one chew, the right way, using premium Australian collagen, a slow drying process, and no compromise on what went into the bag. Her early bags sold by word of mouth across Australia. Quality alone built the cult following.
When we connected with Brooke, we recognized the same standard we'd built Outback Bones on, sharpened over years, perfected in a market that demanded nothing less. The Marrowz chew was the real article. So we partnered with her: to preserve the recipe, honor the sourcing, and carry her work forward to a much wider audience.
“Outback Bones isn't a take on collagen chews. It's the Marrowz chew, given the reach it always deserved.”

How We Got Here.
Four chapters that built the brand.
The Founding
Cam and Ryan launch Outback Bones in the U.S. Butcher-cut Australian-style dog treats built on a single belief: no fillers, no junk, no shortcuts.
Distribution Grows
Outback Bones expands into 1,000+ independent pet retailers nationwide. Built on quality, word-of-mouth, and a refusal to compromise the standard.
Partnering with Marrowz

The Source
